Patchwork Shoulder Bag.

I finished the test Shoulder Bag that I want to teach the lady to sew. While I was sewing the bag, I saw that some things will be a  little bit complicated for a beginner sewer. I changed the pattern to a easier version of the Shoulder Bag.

Here are some photos of the bag I made.

I did not plan it, but the strips in the middle and the zippered pocket came out the same whidth.

I prefer a Cross Body Bag so I think I am going to make myself one -the changed pattern, but with a Cross Body strap.

Patchwork Cross Body Bags.

This is my new Sewing Blog. The reason for this is that I am sewing more than just bags (Messenger Bags, Shoulder Bags, Totes). I am also sewing zipper pouches, aprons, peg bags and a lot more. In the blog  Susan's Bag Making. you can see more of the bags I made.

Lately I am very interested in Patchwork. I made a Patchwork Bag in 2012 and now one in 2019. The name of this bag is the Luna Cross Body Bag. This time I changed the pattern a little bit to put in a partial gusset and a recessed zipper closure.

A lady asked me to teach her to make a bag for herself, but she prefer a Shoulder Bag. I changed the pattern to a Shoulder Bag and is going to start sewing it today.
